Happy Monday! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I had a great weekend trying new recipes and catching up with great friends. We had beautiful warm weather this weekend and we Angelenos took full advantage of it. While out and about this weekend, I noticed more retailers carrying leather pieces. Although I still can’t imagine wearing leather pants at the moment (Los Angeles is still too warm), the idea of leather shorts really appealed to me. So much so that I decided to include them in this weeks L.A. Style which I’m calling Leather Chic!

The first image that came to my mind when I thought of leather shorts consisted of a leather garment that resembled denim shorts. As one of my good friends always says, “no bueno”. But then it occurred to me that designers have probably become extremely creative with the look of leather shorts. Could these look less rugged and “biker chick” if they were a bit more polished? The answer is yes! As a matter of fact, this garment has come a long way from the stereotypical biker look. You’ll find them in lovely variations and lengths that will suit many body types and taste.
