Hi everyone! I hope you’re all having a great start of the week. Things are beginning to cool down a bit here in Los Angeles and the sun has decided to play hide and seek with us. Not that I mind this much. It actually has me thinking about my autumn wardrobe. I’m even thinking about digging out some of my heavier knits this weekend. But most of all, it’s got me thinking about prints. Yes, prints. I tend to wear prints more in the fall/winter than in the spring/summer. I’m not really sure why this is, but I’ve noticed that in my fall wardrobe, I own more garments with prints.
The one print that I do not own much of is the animal print. I have to say, this is rather odd to me because I love this print. I think it’s sexy, sophisticated and perfect for autumn. As of right now, my wardrobe contains two pieces in animal print; a sheer shirt and a cardigan. That’s it! I know what you’re thinking, these are pretty easy and safe options to own in an animal print. So, I’ve decided to be a bit more adventurous and unleash my autumn animal by trying this print in a piece that’s a bit more bold like a pencil skirt. I love pencil skirts! It’s one of my favorite go-to items for work and for evening, especially in the autumn. I think this is a great piece for an animal print and one that could be worn in a number of ways. Here’s how I would wear my autumn animal.
