The final day of Paris fashion week spring summer 2013 continued to feature a combined dark and light palette. While some designers used a variety of colors in their collections, others maintained a more neutral palette. The final day also featured all of the elements and styles that we have been seeing from the beginning of paris fashion week. Sheer fabrics combined with weighted materials, intricate fabrics, metallics, gorgeous beading and of course the ever popular midriff trend. Feminine silhouettes and shorter hems as well as long and luxurious pieces were all present in these collections. Some of the standouts for me on the final day were Louis Vuitton, Elie Saab and L’wren Scott who opted to show her collection via Instagram. Here are a few other looks I liked.
I’d like to hear from you. What was your impression of the Paris spring summer 2013 ready-to-wear runaway shows? Did you find them a bit dark and heavy too?
