Yesterday was my birthday but I decided to postpone the celebration for a few weeks. Close friends and family are out-of-town and I wanted to wait until they got back to celebrate. In the mean time, I’ve been working on my birthday outfit and I think I know exactly what I want to do. This year I fancy a golden theme and the ultimate L.A. golden celebration. I have to admit, the recent olympics may have had a little something to do with my outfit and theme inspiration. So this year, my birthday outfit will feature golden jewelry, golden shoes and shiny golden accessories.

Some might feel a little shy about so much gold, but I plan to shine bright while celebrating my birthday.  You see, L.A. style isn’t always casual and beach inspired, it’s also eye-catching, elegant and absolutely fabulous. So for me, this year I’ve been hit by golden inspiration and I will definitely have a golden birthday celebration…L.A. style.
