L.A. Style: Warm Afternoon

Looks like the summer heat is finally beginning to settle into the L.A. area and I have to say it’s about time. We’ve had gorgeous weather and we really cannot complain about how perfect the weather has been, but it just didn’t feel quite like summer without a little more heat. Although we’re not really hitting triple digit heat yet, it’s kind of nice to feel the warmer weather that just inspires patio seating at your favorite restaurant or happy hour. It also inspires me to wear more dresses. I absolutely love the current dress trend. I especially love dresses that are a little more non-traditional and in silhouettes that are not form fitting yet still feminine. I also seem to be more attracted to prints than ever which is rare for me because I’m not a huge fan of prints. This is definitely not the case for me this year as I’ve added many pieces in bold yet beautiful prints.

So how do we handle a little extra heat in L.A. on a weekend afternoon? With a few mojitos, a great dress and fabulous accessories. Here’s my outfit for a warm L.A. afternoon.
