There’s something about Erdem collections. Their designs always feature a combination of bold colors and patterns yet they always manage to look ultra feminine and chic. Their 2013 resort collection is no exception and my newest collection fancy. Once again we are presented with a cohesive collection that’s sophisticated and charming. This gorgeous collection features a deep navy paired with bright pink, along with a variety of blue, pink and maroon hues. There are pieces that emulate patchwork like the ones you would find in traditional quilts. Vibrant florals are paired with knits, lace and tweed creating comfortable tension that just works. I thought their use of tone on tone lace appliqué was so brilliant. I am enamored to say the least.
