Happy Memorial Day! I hope everyone is having a great holiday weekend and going to at least one of the many BBQ’s happening in L.A. this weekend. I myself are grillin’ and chillin’ today my friends. The weather is absolutely perfect for a backyard BBQ. I’ve got the carne asada and corn on the grill, guacamole, chips and homemade salsa ready to go and my sister’s working on the margaritas. I know, it’s a feast probably more suitable for Cinco de Mayo, but we’re mexican and that’s how we roll.
Since I’m grilling at home today with family, I’m sporting my favorite BBQ outfit; jean shorts, a tank top and some flip-flops. It’s my go to formula for a comfortable and casual outfit. However, I always feel that if I’m going to a BBQ, I need to put a little more effort into your outfit. Even if it’s just a friends house because you just never know who you’ll run into to. Nonetheless, my formula still works to create the perfect outfit that’s BBQ ready. All I need to do is just bring it up a notch with stylish sunnies, fun accessories and a pop of color to create the perfect BBQ ready outfit that’s still comfortable yet very chic! Who says you can’t look good and be comfortable?
