I had the opportunity to talk to best-selling author Christine Avanti, who is also the celebrity chef and health consultant on The Food Network’s Fat Chef. She gave me a yummy detox cocktail and a copy of her book Skinny Chicks Don’t Eat Salads which I cannot wait to read and review. I also spoke to Kate Highstrete of Ballet Bodies fitness studio in Beverly Hills who offered some great fitness advice. Their studio has trained A-list beauties such as Ginnifer Goodwin and Jennifer Anniston with their remarkable combination of the fundamentals of Pilates and ballet. I can’t wait to try it. I also had the distinct pleasure of meeting and trying some of Chef Meg Hall’s extremely delicious food. She is the founder of the Los Angeles based catering company Made by Meg and a featured chef on Kitchit, a new company that allows diners to hire top-caliber professional chefs for their dinner parties and events in the Los Angeles and Bay Area.

Renowned makeup artist and director of artistry & relations at Blushington Makeup and Beauty Lounge, Emma Willis, talked about Blushington’s beauty services and gave me her perspective on BB Creams. I also got to speak to Melissa Gonzalez, CEO of Lion’esque Style, an online shop offering the hottest new emerging brands first. I hope to do join them soon. We had a great time filled with wonderful people who we are so thankful to for sharing some great insights in their field of expertise.
