I’ve recently noticed many girls wearing silicone strap watches in beautiful colors perfect for Spring. I also couldn’t help but notice the design of some of these watches that although felt sporty, were also very chic. I tried on a couple at Coach, Macy’s and Nordstrom last weekend and they really grew on me. I can see myself wearing this watch style a lot, pairing it with my more casual and sporty outfits.

What I loved about this style of watch the most was the variety of colors they are available in. I saw them in bright colors, pastels, white and grey. The grey really took me by surprise because I really thought it would read much too masculine.  But then I saw the Michael Kors version and he sure did it right by pairing it with a lovely rose gold that softened the look and feel of the watch. Very pretty and slightly refined.

This style of  watch is very versatile and stylish. I can see the more bright colors being used as an accent accessory for the perfect pop of color, while the lighter colors can serve as the backdrop to a fun and colorful set of bracelets. They can be the focal point of your outfit, a fun accessory or just simply a watch. I definitely see this coming together with many of my outfits.
